The NPRL Fellowship.
Build real software. Get hired.

Most internships are unpaid coffee runs. The NPRL Fellowship puts engineering and design students on live client projects from week one — under direct senior mentorship, with real code reviews, a portfolio of shipped work, and a paid offer for the top performers.

Indore — January 2026

An 8-week intensive cohort for 12 fellows. Hybrid format: in-person Saturdays at the lab, remote weeknights. Each fellow ships two real client projects under senior supervision. Top 20% receive paid associate offers at the end.

What you'll actually do.

No tutorials, no toy projects. From week one you're shipping code that real clients see.

WEEK 01–02

Onboarding & Foundations

Setup, Git workflow, code-review etiquette, the lab's design system, and a small starter task to get the muscles warm.

WEEK 03–05

Project One

Assigned to a real client engagement. You build features, get reviewed, ship to staging, then to production.

WEEK 06–07

Project Two

A second project — usually a different stack or domain. By now you're shipping faster, with less hand-holding.

WEEK 08

Showcase & Offers

Final demo to the lab + clients. Top 20% get paid associate offers. Everyone leaves with a portfolio that gets interviews.

Why this beats a typical internship.

A side-by-side of what most internships deliver vs what we deliver.

Looking for builders. Not credentials.

We don't care about your CGPA. We care whether you can ship. If any of these are true, apply:

Engineering fellows

  • → You're comfortable with Git and basic web fundamentals
  • → You're a CS / IT student in Indore, Bhopal, or remote
  • → You can commit ~20 hrs/week for 8 weeks

Design fellows

  • → You have a Figma portfolio (any size — quality > quantity)
  • → You know the basics of UI grids, type, and colour
  • → You're a design student or self-taught
  • → You can commit ~20 hrs/week for 8 weeks

Cohort 001 closes Dec 20.

Fellowship FAQ.

Why is there a fee? +
The fee covers your share of senior engineering time — every PR you write gets reviewed by a Lab Lead. It also signals seriousness; we don't want fellows who'll ghost in week three. The top 20% who join the associate team earn far more than the fee back in their first month.
Will I get a certificate? +
Yes — a verifiable certificate plus a personal recommendation letter from the Lab Lead. Both are LinkedIn-ready.
Is this remote or in-person? +
Hybrid. Saturdays in person at our Indore studio (mandatory — this is where the magic happens), weeknight syncs over video. If you're outside Indore, fully remote is possible for engineering fellows after week two.
What's the selection process? +
Step 1: WhatsApp application + portfolio link. Step 2: Small take-home task (2–3 hrs). Step 3: 30-min video chat with the Lab Lead. Step 4: Offer + ₹6,999 fee to confirm seat.
